Music of the Day for me -- Beethoven's Symphony No. 8, the little one, performed by Berlin Philharmonic conducted by Herbert von Karajan.  The symphony cycle was compiled in a 5-CD box set released by DG.  Recording took place in Jesus-Christus-Kirche, Berlin, between 1961 and 1962.  I believe that set is still available in the market.
